.:SOE CB UK Match

Oh well our Clanbase UK ladder hasnt got off to a very good start, mainly cuz we have played 2 very good clans [one is 3rd and one is 5th CB Int] SOE were our opponents tonight. The 1st round was a sorry affair with uk-r being pinned back to the last flag on cr44_b2, we defended well but couldnt hold them off for very long between caps, although towards the end we were getting better, but we lost the round 265-68. As allies it went slightly better, with us moving forward and controlling some more of the map, but we lost that round 184-124. Many THNX to SOE as although we got beat, it was a very good and fun game :)

.:Sota Match

We played sota tonight and we got beat badly, i wasnt going to tell my true feelings about the match to keep good relations, but i just read this on sota site

yeah we had good match today against UK-r. we won 960-483 them and now we are 10. at int.ladder wuhuu!!!we gain 54 cause we were 17. and UK-r 10. place before the match. Our team played very well and the match wasn't so hard to us. End of match they started the whine about the respawncamping but that was only bullshit from losing team, but after all match was good and fair:D ps. KEPPE ROX

Heres my veiw on the match since they have started the shit flinging process :

Sota, in my veiw - are the biggest cheats i have ever encountered in DoD. KEPPE does not "ROX", i think the word is cheats but hey, their English is pretty bad so we'll let them off with that :) They would jump around every corner and hit us 1st time and also this keppe dude shot me through a wall about 5 times [and no it wasnt one of the ones u can shoot through].

Due to this unfortunate match, uk-r will not be accepting anymore challenges on CB unless it is agreed b4 hand that demos will be submitted BY EVERY PLAYER, thnx

.:<VC> Friendly Game

We knew from the start this was going to be a tough match, having been beaten by <VC> twice before. The map was bridge and uk-r began as allies. The game went well and was close fought for most of the 1st half but VC managed to find a hole in our defence, i think due to 2 of our guys blowing two of their team mates up at the same time so thats 4 men down, and VC took the documents. 2nd Round aslo very close, with VC and uk-r both completing the objective once to make the final score 20 - 10 to VC.

.:-=GST=- Friendly Game

We played a friendly match against German clan -=GST=- and won to make it a 3 mtches in a row record for uk-r :) It was a very close game with GST being down a man for most of the 1st round which on caen can [hehe] be hard fro any team. We won the 1st round 378-226 as allies, making many caps - GST mainly played a defensive round. The 2nd round was a different story, we found ourselves being held back near our command zone as axis but managed to hold them off. "nd round GST took the win 301-216 but we won overall. Final Score 594-529. GG and well played by both teams and a nice friendly game :) Thnx to GST

.:-=[KAG]=- Clanbase

We played -=[KAG]=- in Clanbase tonight, and we won our 2nd match of the day :) The score was 616 - 473 on caen. The 1st round went very well for us as allies - we made a lot of good advances and won the round 350 - 207. The 2nd round as Ais we started to dig in more and defend cuz they got a cap early on, but then towards the end we were back to attacking more but lost the round 280 -266 but it wasnt enough on KAGs part and we won the match 616 - 473. Well played by uk-r and KAG although they were prone bugging in the 1st round and we werent and the attitude of KAG in general left a lot to be desired, the clan leader took the time to thank us for the game afterwardse, but the rest of the clan were just bad losers. But hey, what does it matter - we won :)

.:NBKG Jolt league Game

We won our jolt league match tonight by a quite a large margin against German clan NBKG, as the other team only had 3 players and we had 5. Well played by both teams, eseacially NBKG who managed to get to caps as allies on omaha on a 5v3 game. Very GG Final Score 895-350 in favour of [uk-r]

.:New anti-cheat software

According to an e-mail Erik from Valve sent to the hlds linux mailing list Valve is now finally working on an own, built in anti-cheating technology. A quote from Erik :

We're working now on our own anti-cheating technology now. It's our highest priority for the next Half-Life engine release.

This is great news for all of us Half Life players. Let's all hope Valve will do the job right.

.:cs0 Clanbase Match

We played cs0 tonight and suffered a loss, it was neck and neck for a lot of the 1st round with cs0 pulling away later on to win the round ....295-222. The 2nd round was much the same, same points each for most of it, we pulled away with a 50 poiint lead but then lost it but went on to win the round by 26 points 323-297 Final Score : 592-545. Well played by both teams

.:Practice Sessions

From now on there will be practice session on the uk-r server every Monday and Thursday @ 8pm or 2000 BST/GMT. All recruits wil be expected to make at least one practise per week, preferably both though.

.:Inactivity

There will be a new inactivity system intoduced into the clan soon. It works in the way that if a member is not seen by another members for 2days/nights i will enquire why you arent on,if a good reason is given there will be no problem. If a good reson isnt given, after 5 days the member will be considered inactive and will have to come directly to ME if they wish to play with the clan again, I will decide weather you had a good reason for not being in contacts for the 5 days or more

.:cs0 Clanbase war

We have a war against cs0 in clanbase on Thursday the 25th October, the team is D@rkhound,Jester, Gunyy, Pebz, Vineyard and RaBoLiK - the match is at 9pm on our server and the map is caen

.:Clanbase Fixtures

We have two clanbase fixtures coming up soon, although we have more than two alltogether. Here are the two that are coming soon : UAF on the 19th @ 1900 and DOA on Sunday 21st @ 2000, the teams for both matches will be posted up in the Upcoming matches forum.
